Next Wednesday, October 29th, I’ll be participating in the “Forum of Horror” at Utah Valley University, co-hosted by Different Dimensions (UVU’s science fiction and fantasy club) and UVU’s Language and Literature Department.

That’s great, but… red on charcoal?! I haven’t had my second cup of coffee yet, but right now, even though I can read ‘Wednesday October 29th’, I can’t make out any of the smaller stuff at all.
Yes, well. Not my design.
Huh. “Horror Literature and Mormonism?” I didn’t really think that there was a connection. Really, the only Mormon author who comes to mind immediately is Orson Scott Card (and you of course, because you’ve mentioned it). I’m not Mormon, but that sounds like an interesting topic. If I lived anywhere near Utah…alas. I’m stuck in the boonies where the height of literary culture is cowboy poetry. Sigh.
The four of us on the panel are all Mormon, plus horror writers like the father-and-son Michael Collings and Michaelbrent Collings.
