Would the Shoggoth have been designed by Paul Blaisdale? Or maybe go the low-grade stop motion route of Louis DeWitt and Jack Rabin, the team who brought us Kronos; Monster from Green Hell; and Beast of Hollow Mountain?
Definitely Blaisdell — it’d probably be yet another redress of the Saucer People costume.
