You remember the good ol’ days, before Facebook and Twitter and Instragram and such became the centerpiece of everyone’s surfing, when everyone was blogging and fully half of the new posts every week were sorry I haven’t posted for a while? Yeah, I’m old-school like that.
It’s kind of a catch-22, though. See, I’ve got a new job, but because of that I’m too busy to tell you all about my new job. Or even the book launch for The Last Christmas Gift (although I did at least let some people know).
But here’s something new that you can’t find elsewhere: Two new art thingies, done at the behest of (Hugo-nominated) Carter Reid, who ran the art show at Salt City Steamfest this summer and has been begging me for literal years to put stuff in. So I did.
I certainly like the top work. At first I thought it was holding a saxophone, but the larger image proved otherwise.
Congrats on the new job! Hopefully it’s not anything of the soul-sucking variety.
