So last night I sat down and watched Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus. It wasn't very good for the reasons you might imagine: lots of seens of people in cockpits, staring at screens, or running around Southern California standing in for Florida, the Atlantic Ocean, the Congo, Panama, etc.; crappy CGI; and monster battles that consist of the monsters biting each other's tails and twirling around in the water. The bright spot of the film was Jaleel White (aka Steve Urkel), who does his darndest to take the material seriously and put in a good, professional performance.

Out of all the shark-themed B-movies made in the last 15 years or so, I've only seen SHARKNADO, which was awesome in fits and spurts. Asylum nearly defeated me with ATLANTIC RIM, but was partially redeemed by AGE OF DINOSAURS.
