Hard to say, they’re such different movies. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah is a lineal ancestor to Pacific Rim, in that they’re both about having fun with giant monsters while breaking stuff. The new Godzilla is a disaster movie with a kaiju. Despite the common presence of Big G, they are really movies in different genres.
