Since the last time I posted, I’ve been to Westercon, went on a two-week vacation to eastern Canada (and had a deer jump through the side window of the minivan in Maine), gotten released from our ward’s bishopric, and generally puttered around.
But instead of telling you about any of that in detail, I’ll just show you a sketch I did while sitting in the dealers room at Westercon:

My wife and I visited Maine last summer (Bar Harbor specifically) and while driving up the interstate to Bangor, kept seeing signs that said “Watch for Moose”. We were very disappointed that we didn’t see a single moose the entire trip. Sorry you had to encounter one in such as disastrous fashion! (If it’s any consolation, living in the south, I’ve had several encounters between vehicles and white-tail’s).
What you should do is show people the sketch and claim this is what attacked your minivan in Maine.
