If you’re waiting with bated breath (or even baited breath — there are some pretty darned creative fishing techniques out there) for my Salt Lake Comic Con recap, I’m going to disappoint you. There are photogalleries aplenty around the internet; all I will add is that photos just don’t do justice to the spectacle of hordes of people (the most reputable estimates I’ve heard say 60,000) crammed into the Salt Palace.
Instead, I’ll point you do an interview done with me by Steven Savage at Muse Hack. I got on Steven’s radar because of Lousy Book Covers, but then he found out that, jeez, I’m even more fascinating than that one site indicates! Highlights: Laughing myself to tears, shoutouts to Geocities and Leprechaun II, and the glories of the Streisand Effect.
I also commented further on being drunk on technology: http://www.musehack.com/blog/2013/09/sympathy-intoxicated-drunk-power-technology.html
Terrific.
